Sony has released the full version of the new PlayStation All-Stars Commercial/Trailer from its teaser videos. First came “The Reload” which half of the speculation went towards an Infamous 3 game. Then came “The Arrival” teaser in which most of the speculation shifted towards PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Finally the last teaser was title “The Aftermath” in a scene that looked like one of the best PlayStation Party’s ever thrown.
This overall has been revealed to be a commercial to help fans and on-lookers know the nature of psallstars. The interesting gathering of video game characters that have appear on PlayStation consoles for many epic battles. There are a few things to point out about this full length PSASBR video. The lady in the video seems to be the keeper of these ‘arenas’ as she holds the keys to unlock areas. The Aftermath video scene was a previous area that was unlocked for Fat Princess, Radec and/or Sweeth Tooth, and perhaps another character. That was the point of the title, the aftermath of that particular battle. Gee, they should really hire more people to clean up if that’s the only guy there to do that.
Moving on, the newest scene a part of the new full PSASBR video shows her unlocking a door in the hallway. There is a gun laying in the corner to the left. We’re not sure at the moment what game some of these weapons are from. The scene then cuts to Drake walking down the hallway and there is a particular sword seen to the left. Then a little bit further in the video laying on the floor to the right seem to be sandal looking objects. Directly across from that appears to be another weapon, perhaps a shotgun. So besides all of that and a concession-like stand outside at this particular ‘stage’ there doesn’t seem to be anything else hidden in the background besides a couple of poster writings on the walls. The scene takes place in Paris apparently as shown by the Eiffel Tower in the background.
This commercial doesn’t seem like it was trying to be another “To Michael” video. It instead decided to use the same fashion and vibe of that Michael trailer for a PlayStation All-Stars commercial. Overall it’s a great new video to represent the game. We do have a few questions still. Questions such as, if Kratos saw the gamer, does that mean the other characters saw him too? If that was the case would the characters simply not go after this gamer controlling how good Kratos plays? Cole could easily zap the ps3 controller out of his hands or drain the controllers battery. Would Nathan Drake have gotten cut real bad if this game was rated M? Finally, did Kratos drink a RedBull from that concession stand, and if not, would wings grow on his wings if he did?
